Welcome to Dill, run by Daisy Shayler (operating as Dill). The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dill. Daisy Shayler operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”) to provide you with a curated shopping experience.

Dill is powered by Squarespace, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when using the Services.

Please read these Terms carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights, including limitations of liability and warranty disclaimers.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Services.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

To use the Services, you may be required to provide information including your name, email, billing, payment and shipping details. You agree that all information provided is accurate, current and complete.

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However:

  • Colours and appearance may vary depending on your device

  • As our products are handmade, variations in finish, scent, and appearance may occur

  • Burn times are approximate and depend on usage

We reserve the right to change or discontinue products at any time without notice.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.

Orders are only accepted once payment has been processed and confirmation has been issued.

We may cancel or amend orders at our discretion and will notify you using the contact details provided.

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable

  • Shipping and any additional charges are calculated at checkout unless stated otherwise

  • Prices may change at any time without notice

You agree to provide accurate payment information and confirm you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or circumstances outside our control.

Responsibility for goods passes to you once the order has been dispatched.

SECTION 6 - RETURNS & REFUNDS

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

  • You must notify us within 14 days

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

SECTION 7 - FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence.

We will offer either:

  • A replacement, or

  • A full refund

SECTION 8 - CANDLE CARE & SAFETY

To ensure safe and optimal use of our products:

  • Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn

  • Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface on first burn

  • Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time

  • Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children and pets

  • Always use a heat-resistant surface

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

We are not liable for damage or injury caused by misuse or failure to follow these guidelines.

SECTION 9 - WHOLESALE TERMS

We offer wholesale supply subject to the following:

Wholesale accounts are subject to approval at our discretion.

Minimum Order
Minimum order values may apply and will be confirmed upon enquiry.

Pricing
Wholesale pricing is confidential and may change with notice.

Payment
Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed.

Lead Times
Wholesale orders are made to order; production timelines will be provided.

Shipping
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless agreed otherwise.

Returns & Damages
Wholesale orders are non-refundable unless faulty. Damages must be reported within 48 hours.

Resale
Products must be sold under the Dill brand and may not be relabelled or altered without permission.

SECTION 10 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services—including text, imagery, branding and design—is owned by Dill.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without prior written permission.

SECTION 11 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” without warranties or liability. Use of such tools is at your own risk.

SECTION 12 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We are not responsible for third-party websites or content. Accessing these is at your own risk.

SECTION 13 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SQUARESPACE

Squarespace provides the platform for our store, but all transactions are between you and Dill.

Squarespace is not responsible for any issues arising from purchases made through our store.

SECTION 14 - PRIVACY POLICY

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Squarespace’s Privacy Policy.

SECTION 15 - FEEDBACK

By submitting feedback, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual right to use it for any purpose.

You confirm that your feedback does not infringe on any third-party rights.

SECTION 16 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors and update information at any time without notice.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dill.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
