Returns, refunds and delivery

Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 2–4 working days.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email. Delivery times will depend on the service selected at checkout, but typically:

  • Standard UK delivery: 2–4 working days after dispatch

  • Express UK delivery: 1–2 working days after dispatch

Please note that during busy periods (such as product launches or seasonal demand), dispatch times may be slightly longer.

We currently deliver within the UK. If you have any special delivery requests, feel free to get in touch before placing your order.

Dill is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, but we’ll always do our best to help if something goes missing.

Returns

We hope you love your candle, but if something isn’t quite right, you have the right to return your order.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging

  • You must contact us within the 14-day window to request the return

Once your return is approved, you’ll have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used candles or wax melts

  • Items not returned in their original condition

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
